About Mother Attuned
Mother Attuned creates intentionally designed audio to support calm, connection, and emotional regulation for mothers and babies. Each piece is carefully composed and voiced with attention to rhythm, pacing, tone, and repetition, creating sound environments the body can settle into rather than background audio meant to be played once and forgotten.
This is not random sound or generic affirmations layered over music. Every element is considered, from how the piano moves, to how language enters and exits, to how space and silence are used. The goal is not stimulation or performance, but safety, familiarity, and ease.
All compositions are intentionally recorded and tuned to 432 Hz as part of a broader design philosophy focused on softness and grounding. Frequency alone is not the work. How sound is shaped, spaced, and returned to over time is.
Mother Attuned is created to be lived with, revisited, and trusted during moments of rest, bonding, and overwhelm, supporting both mother and baby together.
About the Founders
Mother Attuned is created by Michon and Shea, a married couple and parents of three.
Shea is a Grammy-nominated pianist and composer whose work centers on intention, restraint, and emotional impact. Michon is a birth worker and birth photographer deeply connected to the realities of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early bonding.
This work grew out of our own home. The compositions and language offered here were shaped through late nights, early mornings, and real moments of holding, soothing, and connection with our children. What we share has been refined through lived use, not theory or trends.
We believe calm is not something to force or fix. It is something that can be supported when sound is designed with care. Mother Attuned exists to offer that support to families who want something thoughtful, grounded, and intentionally made.
